importing photo into drawing

I imported a photo into MM that I want to draw over. The photo comes out sideways on the elevations page, even though it is in the right position in my download. The "rotate right" tab is greyed out so that I cannot rotate the photo.
Please help.

Hi Barbara, you can’t rotate a photo inside Studio. Open the photo in Irfanview rotate it and then import it into Studio.

I haven't been using MM for a while, how do I import from Irfanview into studio?

Hi Barbara, open your photo Irfanview and then rotate it if necessary and then save it. Sometimes, it appears to be correct in Irfanview. If that’s the case, just save it with a different name. IMPORTANT—Make a point to know where you’re saving it. Then open Studio and import the photo from wherever you saved the edited photo.
