  • Creating a Watermark on a photo or drawing?

Hello! I seem to remember there was a way to create a watermark in Studio. This morning I was able to just add some text onto a photo, but is there a way of creating an official watermark?

    Hi Debbie,

Perform a search in the forum and there are several posts regarding copyright and watermarks. Search for the word Watermark.

You can create a simple text watermark using Irfanview or make your own in Studio and then add it in Irfanview to your images. You can also do a "batch" watermarking using the steps in this article: https://www.thefreewindows.com/14208...ermark-images/

Here are the steps I used to create the watermark in the attached photo:
      * Create your watermark in Studio using the textbox and importing any image (your logo, etc.)
      * Then export the image and save as a .png file in Low
      * Open Irfanview and locate the image you want to watermark
      * Click Edit > Insert Overlay/Watermark Image; select your watermark file
      * Choose the position and transparency; I chose center and 75% (you will have to experiment to get the look you want)
      * Save As and rename the file

if you don't already have Irfanview installed, download here: www.irfanview.com
