How to import a photo from a Mac to your Studio Online Account

  • How To's ~ How to import a photo from a Mac to your Studio Online Account

    Steps for importing a photo from a Mac to a Studio Online account:
    1. Create a new folder on your Mac Desktop e.g. Minutes Matter (copy/drag photos into this folder)
    2. Set up your Redirects on the Microsoft Remote Desktop by clicking the Redirection tab (see screenshot)
      1. Click the + in the bottom left corner (see screenshot)
      2. Click browse (see screenshot)
      3. One of the redirects should point to the Minutes Matter folder you just created on your Mac Desktop
      4. We recommend creating additional redirects to your Mac Desktop, Downloads and Dropbox, if applicable
    3. Once you have completed setting up your redirects, log into your Studio Online account
    4. Open Studio > click on the Import Image icon on the Quick Access Toolbar > click on the Network icon which is located on the left > click tsclient> you should see the list of redirects you created on the Microsoft Remote Desktop app (see screenshot)

    When a photo/image imports into Studio sideways - open Irfanview (located on your Studio Online toolbar) click Edit and select Rotate Left or Rotate Right. IMPORTANT you must resave/rename the photo and then save the image. Try importing the newly saved/renamed image into Studio.

    NOTE: if you took the photo with your phone, in the future make sure the home button is on the right when you snap the photo.
