Want good quality laser measure device - recommendations please.

This question was asked recently on the CHF Forum. Two brands were recommended: Leica D3 and Bosch DLE 40 Professional. These are the more reasonably priced ones, but they can go up into the several hundred$. Respondents said they were accurate to 1/16th of an inch and very reliable, but took a little getting used to -
It's because my little "errors" just co$t ---and don't want to admit to the $$$$. I am buying TODAY! And thanks; I did look on the CHF Forum. Hope all is well with you and you're still enjoying SFComment

We purchased the Leica one several years ago. Jerry loves it for measuring inside window mounts, floor to ceiling, and wall to wall. Measuring trim to trim or top of trim to floor is not as fast since you need a surface to stop the beam. There are a couple solutions for the outside mount issue, e.g. tape an index card to the trim. I would also recommend getting the one that is Bluetooth enabled.
