Set scale tool

Every time I use the "set scale" tool on a photo or floor plan, the measurements never seem to hold. When I check the measurments, they are all incorrect. If the height is correct, the width is wrong, etc. Is there a way to correct this?

Hi Linda,

It sounds like you have resized the photo and maybe accidentally skewed it. Does that sound like that could’ve happened?

When you resize a photo, make sure you hold down the CTRL key and push on one of the four corners — never on one of the side edit points. Doing...
