  • How To's ~ What and where is the Windows Taksbar

The Windows Taskbar is a very handy feature on a Windows PC. The Windows Taskbar is the equivalent to the "Dock" on a Mac computer. The arrow in the screenshot below points to the Taskbar. Shortcuts to favorite software or file folders can be saved here as well as accessing a menu to many other features and functions.

    Add/Create icons on the Taskbar:
To create a shortcut on the Taskbar to a software program right click on the software icon and select "Pin to Taskbar." You can also drag a software icon down to the Taskbar. Open software will always be displayed on the Taskbar whether it has been pinned to the Taskbar or not.

    Windows Side by Side:
The Windows Taskbar also gives you access to multiple other feature and functions. All you have to do is right click in a empty area of the Taskbar and a menu will appear. (see #2 screenshot below) Make sure you only have two programs open when using the side by side feature.

    Show the Desktop:
You can also right click on the Taskbar and select "Show the Desktop."

Debbie is the virtual fan deck still available to download or another color paint fan deck available to use it in the studio?

Hi Alejandra, The virtual fan deck by Benjamin Moore is no longer available. I guess Benjamin Moore thought it was too much trouble to keep updated.

      Thank you,
Is the eye dropper still down?

      Hi Alejandra,

I believe you have a computer that has the higher font size, if so the eyedropper won't work because your font size is not set to 100%, If you change your font size to 100% then everything is too small to read easily. To check your font size is you can right click on your desktop > select Display Setting > you'll see your font size. It should be set to your computer's default or recommended size.

A work-around is to use www.easyrgb.com to enter your Benjamin Moore or other brand paint name and get the RGB (Red Green Blue) values to use in Studio.
