Default Adding the Lounge to your Quick Launch Toolbar

Here are the steps to make it fast and easy to visit the Lounge:

1. copy the URL to the Lounge -
http://www.minutesmatterstudio.com/forum/index.php

2. go to a blank area on your Desktop and right click > New > Shortcut

3. paste the URL in the box; name the link "The Lounge"

4. if you have an icon you want to use such as the tassel you will receive in your webinar email next week (save to your Desktop), right click on the shortcut and choose Properties > Change icon.

5. click Browse, and locate the icon. click OK, and OK again, until the icon replaces the generic one.

6. to add to your Quick Launch Toolbar at the bottom of your screen, left click on the shortcut on the Desktop, hold down your left mouse button and drag the icon to the bottom of your screen to a blank space on the toolbar.

the tassel icon shown below cannot be uploaded to the Lounge because of the .ICO file type so you'll either have to wait to receive it with your recording of the webinar or you can email me and I will send it directly to you. studiocoach@minutesmatterstudio.com

One final tip: right click anywhere on your Quick Launch toolbar and make sure you don't have the "Lock the Taskbar" enabled. This may prevent you from dragging your icon onto the taskbar, or from seeing that it's there. Push the open applications (any programs you have open such as Minutes Matter Studio, your Internet browser, a card game etc.) to the right by placing your cursor on the tiny rows of dots which will turn your cursor into double arrows.
